Guiding

Our local guide Dafydd is available to take you out on two very different guided walks, both starting from Llanerchindda. One will take you from Llanerchindda to Llanwrtyd Wells, where you will catch the train back to Cynghordy and return to Llanerchindda after a short walk from the station. The second walk will take you from Llanerchindda to the beautiful Towy Valley on the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, returning to us on a circular route.

Family-friendly walking packages are also available. One visits some local caves, where you will hear all about Twm Sion Cati, the Welsh equivalent of Robin Hood. Another visits Llyn Y Fan Fach, where you will hear all about the Myth of the Lady of the Lake. Guiding costs are £100 per day for up to 10 people (for larger groups please enquire).
